KULLEN ELEPHANT FOREST is a sacred home for many retired elephants sending their last lives there.
According to Just Travelous’s Facebook page, Phnom Kulen Wildlife Sanctuary is a place for retired elephants that once served as a tourist destination in Angkor and an elephant sanctuary in Siem Reap.
The Facebook page, which often shows the beautiful tourist sites in Cambodia above, said that there are 13 elephants brought from all over Cambodia in order to rescue and care for the endangered elephants. There are only about 500 varieties in Cambodia. Take about half a day to learn about the real life and character of elephants.
Visiting their sanctuary, you also contribute to show love for elephants and take care of them to continue living a beautiful life.
The location is in a community forest area in Bos Thom village, Sot Nikum district, Siem Reap province.
